Chaz Edwards, Principal Broker of Poplar Realty, began his career in manufactured housing with one of the Midwest's largest and most experienced MHP owner/operators during a period of rapid growth for the company and industry.

Over the course of his tenure at the company Chaz managed the operations and homes sales of a value add acquisition, 275 lot urban community, 5 rural communities with a combined 700 lots, and a 1,400 lot portfolio. Capital projects included road and underground infrastructure repairs, manual to smart water meter conversions, and developing new community amenities, lots, and turnkey mobile homes.

Chaz leveraged his previous experience in real estate licensing education to transition from MHP operations to brokering commercial real estate. He served clients across all asset classes before focusing on MHPs, recognizing it’s where he brings the greatest value for clients.

Lessons from the combined experience led Chaz to take an off-market-first approach to MHPs as apposed to the traditional listing that can bring uncertainties, expenses, and attention that many MHP owners look to avoid.
